G2V Shield

Trust and safety by design.

G2V uses layered seller verification, structured order evidence and human review. No automated score alone can activate or reject a seller.

Trusted status: a seller becomes Trusted after 5 separate 5-star reviews. VIP sellers are automatically Trusted.

Seller identity verification

  1. The seller starts on desktop and scans a short-lived QR code with a mobile device.
  2. G2V explains why identity data is needed and asks for explicit biometric and privacy consent.
  3. The seller enters their full legal home or business address.
  4. For an ID card, the seller captures the original front and then the original back. For a passport, the seller captures the photo page.
  5. The seller captures a live selfie with their face unobstructed.
  6. Admin reviews image quality, consistency signals, duplicate-upload alerts, screening results and AI advisory notes.
  7. Admin approves, rejects or requests a new submission. Only approval can activate the store.

Capture quality rules

Documents must be current, in colour, uncropped, readable and photographed directly—not screenshots or edited copies. All borders must be visible. Sellers should avoid glare, blur and strong backlighting.

Data handling

ID and selfie files are kept outside the public website directory and are never emailed. Access is limited to authorised reviewers. Production retention and deletion periods must be finalised with legal counsel for each operating region before accepting real seller documents.

Automated guidance is not a decision

G2V can combine local duplicate-file signals, sanctions and PEP screening, and a DeepSeek risk summary. These tools help reviewers prioritise evidence; they do not establish identity and they never replace manual review.
